O Canada - stand on guard for thee

Belleisle Elementary School (Springfield, N. B.) principal Erik Millett of the green party removed the daily singing of our National Anthem O Canada, because a few parents found it to be offencive.

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Were those offended, feminists offended by the non gender neutrality of "True patriot love in all thy sons command"?
Were they communists offended by singing "The true north strong and free"?
Were they atheists, or worshipers of more then one god, offended by "God keep our land glorious and free" ?
Were they pacifists offended by "O Canada we stand on guard for thee"?

Were those offended also offended by the french version of O Canada?

O Canada! (translation)
Land of our forefathers
Thy brow is wreathed with a glorious garland of flowers.
As in thy arm ready to wield the sword,
So also is it ready to carry the cross.
Thy history is an epic of the most brilliant exploits.
Thy valour steeped in faith
Will protect our homes and our rights
Will protect our homes and our rights.

If you are offended and don't like our national anthem, because it fails to meet your politicaly correct vision of a homogeneous 'pinko' Kanada, don't sing along.

O Canada! we stand on guard for thee.
